It all started when…

I was living in Lake Tahoe, CA, shoveling FEET of SNOW every week just to gain access to my mountain home. Suddenly I realized how much more fulfilling my life would be if I spent the same time shoveling DIRT, and GROWING FOOD! So I moved back home to North Carolina to set some roots and build my dream of self-reliance. Now, after 13 years of research and development, I am dedicating my life to helping others take that same leap of faith into a world of self-sufficiency.
